Beauty may only be skin deep, but it’s ugly that hits the funny bone! For really big funny you have the option of casting male actors as the ugly stepsisters. While Cinderella and her prince play it straight, her stepmother, the Archduke, and the stepsisters are wacky comical. A combination of slapstick, sly asides, and pratfalls make this a great stage comedy. The fairy godmother works behind the scenes with fairy dust and funny lines to help Cinderella’s dreams come true. Lots of laughs. Hilarious situations, witty lines and zany characterizations make this full-length play memorable entertainment for all ages.
