Kimberlee R. Mendoza is an active member of CITA (Christians in Theatre Arts) and the San Diego Christian Writer's Guild. She has been directing drama and human video for almost fifteen years, has written hundreds of scripts for various churches and schools, and has taught playwriting and acting for Christian Youth Theatre.
Her human video script, The Woman, was purchased by Youth With A Mission for worldwide distribution. Her plays, The Mystery of Montley's Manor and The Case of the Show-Stopping Nun Nabber, were published by Contemporary Drama Service, and her scripts, On the Couch and The Coma Companion, were published in the literary magazine, The Acorn Review. Her screenplay, The Seraph War, was made into a short movie which aired at several venues. Several of her poems have been published in various magazines and anthologies, including "Silent Amour," which on Creative Arts and Sciences Editor's Preference Award of Excellence. She is also the author of two novels, On the Couch and The Seraph War.
Mrs. Mendoza earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development from San Diego Christian College (formerly Christian Heritage College) and holds a Master's Degree in Humanities with n emphasis in literature and playwriting from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
