For Contemporary Drama Service, Mike and his writing partner, Gerald Castle, have provided the music and lyrics for Phantom of the Op’ry and several Christmas-themed works including Would You Believe ... a Stable? and The Little Star. The team also wrote the book, lyrics, and music for the original 50s musical Greecers. In total, Mike and Gerald have had approximately fifteenplays and musicals published and/or produced.

Mike, his wife, Sandra, and two children reside in Montgomery, Alabama. Gerald, his wife, Sally, and two children reside in Warren, Michigan.
