Carol Robinson Marrs is a wife, mother, teacher and writer. She received a degree in speech, drama and English education from West Texas State University and has taught junior high and high school students for over twelve years. Her involvement in performance and competitive speech has contributed to many individual speaking awards won by her students, as well as many team trophies.

She was selected as an Outstanding Young Woman of America in 1986. She has been a member of professional organizations such as: Texas Association for the Improvement of Reading, PTA, Society of Children’s Book Writers, American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors and “Just Say No” organization.

She wrote and self-published a book of children’s poetry entitled, Pet Cobwebs, which her husband, Greg, illustrated. With brother, Dale, she co-produced an audio tape of poems and songs from Pet Cobwebs. She enjoys visiting local schools where she performs her poetry and songs for groups of students. Her writings also include skits, plays, short stories and greeting cards.

She and her husband, Greg, have two children.
