Sue  McAnally

Sue McAnally is costume designer and wardrobe chairman for the Thomasville (Georgia) Music and Drama Troupe, a regional performance group of 200 teenagers, including ninety-six dancers. She has served in this capacity since 1977, costuming the Troupe for big-audience performances, including Atlanta Falcons football games. She currently serves at the Troupe’s associate choreographer.

For the past twelve years, her costumes have adorned the Thomasville High School Show Stoppers, winners for the 1993 “Royal Hawaiian Classic,” a worldwide competition for high school show choirs. With this group, she has spent part of several summers attending theatre workshops in New York City. In addition, she serves as consultant to other area schools for their productions.

Her costume-designing repertoire of musicals and plays includes Barnum, Pippin, Grease, Amahl and the Night Visitors, A Member of the Wedding, Under Milkwood and others.

She and her husband, Bob, are the parents of five children and grandparents of eight.
