Age Level: Middle Grades to High School Cast: 5 or more players per skit, mixed Time: 5 to 7 minutes each
Five of the most popular fairy tales are re-staged and rewritten to silly rap beats. A narrator-rapper interacts with a performing group of actor rappers to stage the tales as they’ve never been staged before. This collection of five favorites includes: Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, The Tortoise and the Hare, Little Red Riding Hood and Jack and the Beanstalk. The sketches can be staged with simple props. Costumes are optional. The rappin’ words may be backed up with a drummer, but this, too, is optional. Lots of fun to do while learning how to control rhythmic speech patterns.
