Surfing songs in the style of the famous Beach Boys, the Ventures and other beach music bands give this one act musical comedy lots of energy and fun. An Italian immigrant’s Surfin’ Burger restaurant sits on one of California’s best beach fronts. Scheming land developers try to steal his property to build a huge hotel on it. His daughters, their surfer friends, and the bird-watching society are able to thwart the developers. Songs include: "Surf’s Up," "The American Dream," "Riptide," "California," and "Shocka Bra." Full of suspense and hi-jinks. Easy to stage.
