Jack and the Beanstalk Bandstand

A one-act, nonstop comedy musical full of the wildest rock ’n’ roll cliches and character types of the fifties! Jack trades the family cow to a scam artist for a bottle of "The Great Elixir." His angry mother tosses it out the window and a giant stalk grows. Jack climbs it and finds the Beanstalk Bandstand, a TV show featuring Duck Clark and guest performers who perform in the rock ’n’ roll styles of Chuck Berry, Elvis and the Supremes. Eight lively songs and reprises including: "The Great Elixir," "Old Time Hunger," "At the Rock Hop," "Rock and Roll Twist" and "I Wanna Be!" Also has take-off parodies of familiar commercial jingles. An irresistible spoof for teens who want to have fun in silly costumes, while acting and singing in a musical comedy.
