More Short & Sweet Skits for Student Actors

Age Level: Middle Grades to High School
Cast:
Time:

A sequel collection of short skits in the style and format of Short & Sweet Skits for Student Actors. These sketches with casts of two to ten players (mostly 2 to 3) include a wide variety of topics and drama styles. Many of the skits are comic for learning comedy technique. Others are more dramatic situations for students to learn more about themselves and others. The dialogue is crisp and easy to perform. The short length of these skits requires very little planning and memorization. They work well in the classroom and may also be used in a theatrical setting. Includes an introduction for teaching students how to audition. Sample titles include: Drivers Ed; Homework; Boys, Boys, Boys; Prom; Un-Reality Show; Don’t Tell Mom; TV Addiction and Compu-Speak. They can be staged and directed by the students themselves. Excellent for competition or comedy revue shows.

(128 pages, 5½ x 8½, paperback)
