Shiver Me Timbers!

Age Level: Middle Grades to High School
Cast: 10F, 10M
Time: 75 minutes

The greatest fun in this pirate play is in the riotous characters: Captain Seaworthy, Barnacle Billy and the notorious French pirate Captain LaMer, who speaks in a silly French dialect. On secret orders from the governor, Captain LaMer ransacks the Ollingsford sister’s home to steal the deed to their land. Devastated, the sisters and their maids go to sea in the guise of pirates. When Captain LaMer fights Captain Seaworthy he discovers that his entire crew are ladies in disguise! Marooned Barnacle Billy saves the day. A map leads to a treasure hidden on the Ollingsford estate. The devious governor is unmasked and imprisoned. Hilarious Captain LaMer is demoted to be the French cook on Captain Seaworthy’s ship.
