Wild Kingdom High School

By: Kirk Buis

Age Level: High School
Cast: 3 to 5 players each skit, mixed
Time: 30 minutes, 1 to 5 each skit

These sketches use the animal kingdom as a metaphor for the high school (zoo) experiences. The herd mentality has students texting in class, fretting homework, and avoiding the jockosaurus. Students and teachers will see themselves in the characters and situations portrayed here. Sketches include: Wild Kingdom Introduction, Regular Old Student, Working Harder, The Modern Classroom Part 1, The Lunchroom, The Modern Classroom Part 2, Homework, The Parent Conference, The Modern Classroom Part 3, and Crowd Control. These skits offer lots of teen character roles (jock, nerd, Goth, and more) for young performers. Great material for classroom rehearsal, contests, and variety shows.
